Passage

A hospital triage model predicts short-term survival more accurately than clinicians' unaided estimates. The passage accepts that predictive result but rejects the claim that accuracy alone determines whom it is fair to prioritize. A hospital might also value saving the worst-off, giving equal chances, or recognizing urgent need, and data cannot choose among those principles by themselves.

Why does the triage passage treat predictive accuracy as insufficient?
